WSOP Circuit Hammond: Already five rings distributed

The eighth season of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) was effectively launched with the first two stages held in Louisiana and Indiana. Last week, the WSOPC made a stop in Chicago (Indiana) at the Horseshoe Hammond for its third step. Like all steps in the framework of the Season 8, the WSOP Circuit Hammond has 12 events with gold rings to the champion to win. Since its opening, the WSOP Circuit Hammond beat the record of registered participants in one day especially with the Event 1 (No-Limit Hold'em). Indeed, over 3,000 players were registered for the No-Limit Hold'em tournament of $ 350 entry. Aaron Bieck pocketed $ 124,438 of earning by eliminating David Schonback ($ 76,911) and Jeffrey Manza ($ 58,982).



Four events have been completed and there are still seven to play including the Main Event of $ 1,600 buy-in that began on Friday, October 21. At the Event 2, a $ 560NLHE , David Costain was the best among 648 entrants registered. He won a gold ring as well as Aaron Bieck and got at the same time a prize of $ 64,416. Andrew Barfield ($ 39,866) and Alin Cotolan (29,241) were part of the podium. The Event 3, a NLHE of $ 1100 which recorded 202 entrants, was won by Valentin Vornicu ($ 50,943). The Event 4, Pot-Limit Omaha and the Event 5 NLHE of $ 350 each saw the coronation of Charles Tonne and Navin Kamal who pocketed respectively the sum of $ 37,560 and $ 42,369 in addition to the gold rings.
