LAPT Colombia Day 2: Stuart McDonald in the lead

The Colombian step of the Latin American Poker Tour Season 4 began last week at the famous Allegre casino of Medellin. At the opening day of this tournament, 681 participants joined the tables of Allegre Casino with only 101 survivors on Day 1A. Fredy Torres, Humberto Brenes, Alex Manzano and Daniel Ospina were among the survivors of the first day and had their ticket for Day 2. Alongside these 101 players, 108 players from Day 1B were also qualified, which reduced the number of qualified players for Day 2 to 209. We note the qualification of Andre Akkari, Leandro Csome, Leo Fernandez, Pablo Gonzalez, Oded Minond, Carlos Zapato, Jesus Bertoli, Gaston Catzman, Cesar Mejia Medina, James Honeybone, Julio Belluscio, Jorge Alvarado ...

Fredy Torres and Leandro Csome started the Day 2 with a good position by being respectively the chipleaders of Day 1A and 1B. But after 10 levels of play, only 28 players on the 209 entrants got their ticket for Day 3 with Stuart McDonald as chipleader. Indeed, the Australian poker player was at the top of the podium, winning 754,000 chips. We found among the 28 players qualified for the Day 3: Stuart McDonald (754,000), Alexis Gomez (713,000), David Garcia (701,000), Jonathan Markovitz (561,000), Andres Felipe Giraldo Corrales (544,000), Simon Campo (490,000), Jason Sudol (425,000), Gilberto Castillo (417,000) and Julian Menendez (400,000) who closes the top 10 in terms of chip count.
