WSOPE Event 4: Tristan Wade signed his first WSOPE victory

The WSOP Europe are now at mid-term with the first three events completed at the Casino Barrière of Cannes Croisette, meetings marked by the victory of Guillaume Humbert in the No Limit Hold'em 6-max (Event 1) and Andrew Hinchinsen at the No Limit Hold'em (Event 2). Currently, the sixth day of this annual event was marked by the excellent performance of the French Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier in No Limit Hold'em Shootout of € 3,200. ElkY has just had his ticket to the final of the WSOP Europe and ranks among the best players in the running for a WSOPE title. The only thing missing in the French charts is effectively an European WSOP bracelet. Indeed, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier alreagy got the EPT, the WPT and the WSOP Las Vegas, which places him in the circle of "Triple Crown".

During the Event 4 held this Thursday, October 13, all the attention of the public was riveted on the French and his aggressive poker following a second place after one hour of play. But in the end, Tristan Wade played better than him and win € 182,000 of gain against Michael Watson, Richard Toth, Max Silver, Bertrand Grospellier and Steve O'Dwyer. The French ends just before the American O'Dwyer with a gain of € 47,763. Bertrand Grospellier has then four WSOP final tables, despite a fifth paid place at home. Tristan Wade signed his first major tournament victory after a third place on the podium at the last WSOP Las Vegas during which he won $ 350,000. The U.S. player accounts a gain of $ 718,000 in his career.
