WSOPE: Steve Billirakis grants itself the title of the Event # 3

By defeating a field of 180 players during the tournament Pot Limit Omaha of € 5,300 buy-in of the World Series of Poker Europe Cannes (WSOPE), Steve Billirakis won his second bracelet and took home thanks to this victory the sum of € 238,140. The final table of the WSOPE Cannes Event # 3 received yet prominent players like Sam Trickett and Eoghan O'Dea but Billirakis led well his game and was able to dominate his opponents. Note that in 2007, Steve Billirakis was among the youngest players who won a WSOP bracelet as he triumphed in the tournament Mixed Hold'em Championship of $ 5,000 buy-in. And in the final, he won the trophy after only two hands. His runner up Michele Di Lauro was entitled to the second prize of € 147,171.

If Eoghan O'Dea was eliminated early in this final, he was awarded the 9 th place, Sam Trickett also saw his dreams steaming by being eliminated in the 4th place. Ramzi Jelassi occupied the third place, Jerome Bradpiece, Konstantin Uspenskiy, Erich Kollmann and Sam Chartier were ranked respectively at the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th place. Note that great stars of poker like Phil Hellmuth, Sam Stein, David Williams and Mike McDonald were present in the starting field but they were eliminated before the bubble burst. But Jason Mercier, David Benyamine and Shawn Buchanan accessed to the money list.
