WSOPE Event 2 NLH: Won by Andrew Hinrichsen

The No Limit Holdem, second Event of the WSOP Europe brought together 771 players at its opening. On the eve of the final of that event, the Italian Gianluca Speranza was estimated as the favorite by occupying the top of the chip count with 757,000 chips. After four days of play, nine players were qualified with Andrew Hinrichsen at the second place with 434,000 chips followed by Roberto Romanello (253,000), Eric Baudry (232,000), Bruno Tarcisio (153,500) and John Eames (106,500). Three French players were also qualified for the final: Nabil Nadjai (250,500), Gregory Lejolivet (95000) and Bernard Guigon (53,000). Roberto Romanello was a worthy opponent during Day 4 before falling at the third place in the chip count after the lost of stack of 450,000 chips before the end of the day.

Roberto Romanello was the man to beat at the entrance to the final table as he aimed during this event the Triple Crown. Indeed, the Welshman has already recorded an EPT title (Prague 2010) and a WPT title (Bratislava 2011), and the WSOP bracelet is the last missing piece at his prizelist. With a WSOP title, he entered in the closed circle of Triple Crown alongside the French Bertrand Grospellier, Gavin Griffin, Jake Cody among others. But on the fifth day of the WSOPE, Romanello and six other players were eliminated, leaving to Andrew Hinrichsen and Gianluca Speranza the final head's up. Andrew Hinrichsen was the best and won his first WSOP bracelet.
