WPT Marrakesh: The third edition will be held from November 24 to 27
This year 2011 is the third consecutive year that the World Poker Tour (WPT) will stop in Morocco. Indeed, the WPT Marrakesh will be held again from November 24 to 27 in the majestic Es Saadi Casino. A rich and attractive program will be offered to participants in the tournament. The flagship event is the main event of DH 33,000 equivalent to € 3,000 and will begin on November 24 at 2:00 p.m and will last about four days. As usual, the organizers hope to attract lovers of poker from France and the neighbouring countries. The godfather of Moroccan poker, Roger Hairabedian, will be certainly part of he field. On November 23, qualifying satellite tournaments for the main event will be held in the poker room of the casino. It will be open for a buy-in of € 320.
And about the side events, a NLH Freezeout of € 500 and a satellite NLH of DH 10,000 are on the menu. On Saturday, November 26, there will be a Turbosat NLH of DH 10,000 and from 5:00 p.m, participants will have the chance to play deep stack poker in the NLH Freezeout Deepstack of € 900. The WPT Marrakesh will be closed by the Short handed of € 320 buy-in on Sunday, November 27. The final day of the main event will also take place during the day. Thus, those who want to take their chances to succeed to Christophe Savary and Sebastian Homann, the winners of the first two editions should be prepared. Note that package offers including travel, accommodation and ticket access for the tournaments are to be won for this event.
