EPT London: The side events reveal their first winners

If the main event of the European Poker Tour London (EPT) is currently in its fourth day of competition, most of the side events have already crowned their champions. During the £ 2,000 NL Hold'em event, the local player Pratik Ghatge won the victory over the Finn Joni Nenonen and pocketed the sum of $ 71,000. The tournament brought together 189 participants and the world champion 2010, Jonathan Dumahel was among the finalists. He ended up in the 6th place. During the NL Hold'em of £ 1,000 buy-in, it was the American Michael Benvenuti who was the best face to the field of 150 participants. The 5 Card PLO 8 or Better also delivered its result and it was Jonathan Roux who was crowned as winner. The champion was able to eliminate the professional player Victor Ramdim and was entitled to a gain of £ 22,795. Note that the tournament attracted 47 players.

The title of the first mixed tournament as the £ 500 + 50 NL / PLO Turbo Bounty, which gathered 108 competitors was won by the American star David Williams. The poker room of the Hilton Metropole witnessed a very interesting final heads'up between David Williams and Dave Devilfish Ulliott. The champion pocketed the £ 52,380 bonus. And about the European 8 - Game Championship, 49 players paid the buy-in of £ 2,150 and there are only 15 competitors in the race which include Jason Mercier, Roger Hairabedian, Marc Gork and Steve Billirakis. The Head's Up Championship of £ 5,000 is still played. Some well known players as Annette Obrestad, Scott Seiver and Roger Hairabedian are still part of the starting field that had 32 participants. The title will be played between Germany's Berndt Gleissner and the one who will survive during the duel between Fabrizio Gonzalez and Melanie Weisner.
