EPT London Ladies Event: Victory of Jan Combes

Last weekend, the EPT London hosted as usual the Ladies Event, which gathered the biggest women players of poker. After 14 hours of play in No-Limit Hold'em of £ 500 + £ 50 buy-in, the final table made up of nine players was finally known : Colette Murphy, Yuka Hiramura, Joanna Ray, Josefine Forssberg, Amanda Williams, Anna Grabek, Lynne Beaumont, Cathy Hong, Jan Combes, respectively occupied the seats of the nine final table. After 5 hours of play, the public at Grosvenor Victoria Casino has seen the coronation of Jan Combes. Thanks to this feat, the English won the sum of £ 8,700.



At this final table, Amanda Williams was the first to be eliminated without being paid. Anna May Grabek was the next, winning £ 700 for her eighth spot. The seventh place was awarded to Cathy Hong after having been eliminated by Lynne Beaumont. Hong left with £ 1,130 of gain. Colette Murphy followed the other three players after a few hours of play with £ 1,350. At the fifth place, there was Josefine Forssberg with £ 1,750 after having been eliminated by the future winner of the tournament, Jan Combes. Joanna Ray and Yuka Hiramura were respectively the fourth and the third with £ 2,500 and £ 3,350 in prize money. The last two on the table of this special ladies poker tournament was Lynne Beaumont and Jan Combes, but this last triumph as expected because she already this final table with a stack of 75,500 chips.
