WPT Borgata: Victory of Bobby Oboodi

The televised final table of the World Poker Tour Borgata 2011 (WPT) closed during the end of last week. Bobby Oboodi, a player of 24 years old from New Jersey was the great lucky that successfully established achieved the feat of reaching the 1st place face to the large field of 1,313 participants. He already get a significant advantage prior to the final round by standing in the place of chipleader. And with his achievement, he just launched a successful career in the poker pro world because in addition to the great reward of $ 922,441 and a trophy as champion of the WPT, Oboodi also won the chance to be among the competitors of the $ 25,000 WPT World Championship at Bellagio that will terminate the tenth season.



The most famous player, Fred Goldberg failed to stop the young champion and he even finished 4th in this race for the title. The 6th place was occupied by Ricky Hale who pocketed $ 186,585 for the occasion. Darren Elias was awarded the 5 th place with a prize of $ 236,610 while Daniel Bugzon accessed to the third place in the poker room of Borgata casino in Atlantic City and pocketed a premium of $ 335,433. It was Hwang Jin who occupied the place of runner up and was entitled to a gain of $ 554,303. Among the top players who managed to integrate the money list are Will Failla, Matt Glantz, Brandon Schaefer, Miami John Cernuto, Vanessa Selbst and John Racener who finished respectively 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 23rd and 35th.
