WPT Borgata Poker Open: The competitors of the final table known

After five days of competition, the six players who will participate in the grand finale of the World Poker Tour Borgata (WPT) are finally known. Of the 1,313 participants who were registered during the two Day 1 at Borgata Hotel Casino, six players were selected for the Main Event final of Friday, September 23. To the surprise of all, Will "The Trill" Failla, the chipleader at the end of Day 3 was eliminated at Day 4 and finished in the 11th place with $ 50,315 in prize money. This disqualification ends the dream of this American player for a second title at the World Poker Tour. Will Failla, was however the favorite of this tournament but was defeated by Jin Hwang by losing his entire stack on a preflop. Vanessa Selbst, the only woman player of the tournament to have survived at the end of Day 3 failed on Day 4 in the 23rd position in the tournament with a gain of $ 18,868.

Bobby Oboodi and Fred Goldberg are now the two favorites of the tournament at the end of Day 4 by qualifying for the finals with respectively a chip count of 11,140,000 and 11,080,000. Behind the two Americans, we find Darren Elias (7.36 million), Dan Buzgon (4.71 million), Ricky Hale (2.32 million) and Jin Hwang (2,205,000). If we refer to the ranking of these six players, only Goldberg has a known history on the international circuit : a WSOP 2006 bracelet and a WPT final table in 2007.
