Finland: The country of online poker High Stakes

Online poker is a real phenomenon in Scandinavia as evidenced by the number of players who play in poker from online poker rooms. Scandinavians, including Finns are passionate about poker and not especially about high-stakes poker. Online poker players in Finland make talk about them on the international stage with four players who are classified among the best players in cash games and online tournaments. Indeed, the Finn Patrik Antonius, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, Jens "Ingenious89" Kyllönen and Sami "LarsLuzak" Kelopuro are in the top ranking of High Stakes earnings of this year by signing exemplary performance.

Patrick Antonius and Jens Kyllönen have just reached the Top 10 of biggest gains received in cash games for the year 2011 with gains of $ 1,157,000 and $ 1,158,116. Since 2008, Patrik Antonius scored $ 11.8 million in winning with about $ 1.2 million for the year 2011. Jens Kyllönen is just before Antonius his countryman with a few thousand dollars more. Ilari Sahamies took the third place with $ 736,000 followed by Sami Kelopuro who is far behind. Alongside these Finnish, Danish Gus Hansen is still the master in this field in 2011 with a gain of nearly $ 4 million which is the total earnings of the three first Finns.
