Russian Poker Series Kiev: Oleg Prokhorov as champion

The Russian Poker Series tournament held in Kiev, in the poker room of Poker Club Kreschatyk gathered 322 players at the Main Event of $ 2,500 buy-in. And at the end of the confrontation, the trophy was awarded to Oleg Prokhorov. The wide field of the beginning of this stage of the Russian Poker Series in the Ukrainian capital was quickly reduced to 193 players on the second day of competition. And at dawn of Day 3, there were only 40 competitors in the race. It was a day full of actions as beautiful competitions between participants were observed in order to be qualify among the nine finalists. And at the end of the confrontation, players who completed the final table stood out with Vadim Ostomaty as chipleader who managed to gather 2.1 million chips.



His great advantage allowed him to rise to the final head's up during which he has Oleg Prokhorov as opponent. But in this duel, he didn't resist for long and let his opponent take the trophy with a prize of $ 182,482. However, Vadim still pocketed a superb earning of $ 112,800 for his magnificent performance. Among the notable players that caught the public eye at the final table was Alex Kravchenko. This professional poker met nevertheless a bad beat and got eliminated in the 6th place. Andrew Pateychuk, Martin Dietrich and Yuri Skorzeny were the first removed and placed respectively in the 9th, 8th and 7th place. Paul Lee, Levan Karmanishvili and Anton Ponamarev occupied respectively the 5th, 4th and 3rd place.
