UKIPT Dublin: A second title for Joeri Zandviliet

After having been the best among the large field of 718 participants during the tournament United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour Dublin (UKIPT), Joeri Zandviliet won his second title in this circuit. Indeed, the German has already won the trophy of the same circuit during the UKIPT stage in Manchester in 2010. And note that it's also the third UKIPT final table in which he participated. With this new triumph, Zandviliet pocketed a superb earning of € 83,500, which adds to the prize of £ 63,200 that he got when he won his first UKIPT title. At this final table, Zandviliet achieved a great feat that allowed him to climb to victory. Indeed, he eliminated three of his opponents and also faced Max Silver, the defending champion who was also looking for a second success. But the confrontation ended with the defeat of Silver. So he missed his chance to win another title and settled for the 4th place.

The two British David Docherty and Rory Curtis, the two Irish Noël O'brien and Jason Tompkins also experienced bad luck and finally, they were ranked respectively 8th, 7th, 6th and 5th. The native of Hungary Robert Csire was awarded the third place in this poker tournament with a prize of € 30,700. And it was Chuck Fabian and Zandviliet who had the privilege to play the final head's up, a part that the champion dominated completely. As runner up, Chuck Fabian was awarded the prize of € 49,600.
