US Poker: The exodus of professional players is growing

Certainly, the regulation of online poker in the United States won't still be planned for this year judging by the number of players who emigrate to neighboring countries in order to practice legally online poker. The American exodus is growing more and more after the Black Friday that shocked the American poker world. Most of these players opted for Canada, but others also chose Malta, Mexico or the United Kingdom, where the activity of online poker rooms is legal. Of course, operators are seeking all the possibilities to solve the problem because poker plays an important role in online gambling in the country and the number of players rose sharply over the past two years.

Players like Daniel Negreanu, David "DocSands" Sands Cole South, Jon Aguiar, Olivier Busquet, Phil Galfond, Adam "Roothlus" Levy found refuge in Canada while Justin "ZeeJustin" Bonomo chose Malta to play free online poker and recover the money locked in US sites. Last week, Brian Hastings and Eugene Yanayt announced their respective departure to Canada and Mexico. Both players join the thirty players and professionals who have taken the initiative to leave their country temporarily the time to find a way to legalize online poker. The government however count on the market for online games to cover the U.S. debt, but nothing is sure at least for this year as online gaming is still banned today.
