Sorel Mizzi: Another title by winning the WPT Paris High Roller

The WPT Grand Prix de Paris is also a high roller tournament! Last year, the tournament attracted a field of 24 players with a buy-in of € 20,000. This year, the entry fee was reduced to € 15,000, which allowed some thirty players to join the French capital for the WPT Paris High Roller. On Sunday 11 September, Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi, an "inveterate" of MTT finished as winner in the WPT Paris High Roller face to a field of 36 players and was awarded a gain of € 234,495. The final was very tough as during the Main Event final held the day before. But fans of high roller were in an atmosphere of deja vu because face to the Canadian, they found another compulsive of High Roller, Freddy Deeb. The battle between these two players went back on last year during which Freddy Deeb was victorious.

So last weekend, the native of Toronto took his revenge during the final head's up and pocket € 234,495 and a title. With this win, Mizzi totaled just over $ 6 million winnings with $ 4 million in live tournament in addition to $ 2.3 million that he pocketed in online poker tournaments. Freddy Deeb had to settle for the second place with an earning of € 130,275 followed by Nichlas Mattsson (€ 78,165) who complete the podium. The French Jerome Zerbib was ranked in the fourth place and won € 52,110 of prize.
