WPT: After Paris, Malta as next step from September 24

After the WPT Grand Prix de Paris, which ended last Saturday, September 10 with the victory of Matt Waxman before the two French Hugo Lemaire and Fred Magen, the eyes of fans and poker enthusiasts around the world already turned to Malta for the continuation of the season 10 of the World Poker Tour 2011. Casino Portomaso Malta will receive from September 20 to 24 the eighth stage of the second largest poker tournament in the world after the World Series of Poker (WSOP). With this new European stage of the WPT after a stopover in Paris, the organizers of this tournament have ambition for Europe with its unique setting to combine tourism and poker but also the level of European players which is already well established.



This event is an opportunity for fans to see their stars especially from the French side because the WPT Grand Prix de Paris was a great opportunity to show the return of French players on the first rankings of international tournament as their occupation of two positions in podium in Paris. As usual, the WPT Malta will take place in the prestigious Portomaso Casino, known for the various events that took place there. The Main Event will begin on Tuesday, September 20 with an entry price of € 3,300, the equivalent of 30,000 chips. Saturday, September 24, will be the last day of the tournament, date during which will the final of the Main Event and also the Side Event will be organized. Indeed, the WPT Malta, like other phases of the WPT Season 10 also includes a Side Event of € 1,100 buy-in for 25,000 chips.
