WSOPC Bossier City: The inaugural tournament of the season 2011-2012

The season 2011-2012 of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) tournament has begun. Indeed, the start of the inaugural tournament was held last Thursday, September 8 in Bossier City, Louisiana. The city hosts for the first time this poker circuit. So for 12 days, the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City will live under the fever of poker. A total of 30 tournaments will take place in the poker room of the casino and there are 12 WSOPC bracelets to distribute. One of the jewels will be awarded to the champion of the $ 1,500 buy-in main event starting on September 17. The event will certainly attract top players and in this context, the WSOP champion of 1998, Scotty Nguyen, has already confirmed his presence. For this first pass of the WSOPC in this city, organizers hope to raise a huge field of 800 participants during the main event.

Yesterday, the WSOPC Bossier City began with a No-Limit Hold'em tournament of $ 300 buy-in. Qualifying satellite tournaments for the main event of $ 50 will be available in the program. There will be a senior event to be held this Sunday. And the ladies can also play poker in a tournament which is for September 18, 2011. Throughout the 12 days of festivities, Omaha tournaments will be offered. There will be also the Nightly No-limit Hold'em of $ 100. Note that the poker room has been carefully prepared to host this great event. It is equipped with 46 poker tables and eight television sets big screen. Three tournaments will therefore take place simultaneously.
