WPT World Legends of Poker: It remains 21 players in the race

The World Poker Tour Legends of Poker (WPT) has already reached its third day of competition. Another success has been recorded during this new passage the WPT in Los Angeles. In fact, 757 players joined the poker room at Bicycle Casino to compete for the prestigious title with a prize of $ 758,085. Note that the buy-in for the main event was set at $ 3,500, which generated $ 2.5 million prize pool. Competitors gave all the best of them during the first two days of competition in order to be at least part of the 81 winning players. And at the dawn of Day 3, they were only 21 players in contention.



Currently, Jeff Vertes takes the control of theevent by occupying the place of chip leader with 2,715,000 chips in hand. He has enough advantage to climb to the final table. But other talented players are still in the race as James Carroll who is second with 1.9 million chips in hand, Shawn Buchanan who holds the eighth place, Tyler Cornell, Ken Aldridge placed at the 6th position, Dan Heimiller and Christina Lindley. Among the top players who managed to qualify in the money list, there are Dwyte Pilgrim, Jonathan Little, JC Tran, Gavin Smith, Alex Cunningham, Jamie Gold, Soi Nguyen and Greg Mueller. After the outcome of this fourth day of competition, the Bicycle Casino’s public will still have the opportunity to assist in a big show of poker in which is the final of six that will be broadcast on television.
