Goliath GUKPT 2011: Start of the tournament
This week, poker is the event not to miss on the country of Queen Elizabeth. Indeed, the Grosvernor United Kingdom Poker Tour (GUKPT), will be the major event appointment for all poker players worldwide. Scheduled for August 24 to August 28, this major event is characterized by a large prize pool of £ 100,000. The Goliath Event, as fans call it, will be held at Ricoh Arena Coventry FC, the place that will become the poker room for a few days and buy-in for all players is £ 100 +20. By judging the number of players who should be around 1,600 and the jackpot to be won during the five days of tournament, the Grosvernor United Kingdom Poker Tour event is the event the most popular nearby players from all Europe and the rest of the world being held this week.
For the Day 1, all participants will start with 25,000 chips and levels of 40 minutes before moving on to level of 60 minutes from Day 2. In terms of re-entry for the Main Event, each player must pay the modest sum of 10 pounds. For this new edition, the organizers of the GUKPT Goliath updated the rules of the game because the tournament allows the introduction of teams of 6 players. Points will be awarded to each team based on their progress in the tournament. At the end, the team that collect the most points will be crowned with a trophy and a pass for the GUKPT Goliath 2012.
