France Poker Series: Preparation of the Season 2

The France Poker Series (FPS) since its launch last year became the tournament's most crested of the Hexagon. The France Poker Series Sunfest Mazagan, season two of the FPS will be held then from December 1st to 4 in Morocco in the prestigious Mazagan Beach Resort. The best French player at the moment, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Julien Brecard and also Arnaud Mattern will be part of this adventure under the sun of Morocco. As with the first season, the FPS Season 2 will have in its program numerous tournaments like the Main Event of €1,100 + €100, the High Roller of € 2,700 + 300. Also featured during this tournament, there will be a NLHE Knockout, a PLO six-handed and a HORSE 8-handed with a buy-in of € 270 + 30.



The first edition was marked by the victory of the German Marvin Rettenmaier at the Cercle Haussmann with a gain of € 244,036 and at this time, he shadowed the French Basil "Basou" Yaïche and Julien "FullBRMgmt" Jolivet. Indeed, the French players were left far behind. Yaïche, the first French in this classification was at less than € 100,000 behind the German while Jolivet recorded only € 86,200 despite a good performance throughout the tournament. This first edition brought together nearly 567 players during the six days of competition and wants to be even more pointed for the second season with a very important field.
