Macau Poker Cup: Patrick Kar Keng Lee as champion of the Red Dragon

A field of 478 players were registered at the Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon which took place in the poker room of the Grand Lisboa, in Macau. At the end of the competition, a native of Singapore, Patrick Kar Keng Lee was the best player and won the trophy with a gain of $ 133,417 during this tournament. It is not easy to climb to victory when we began the final day at the 21st position with a low stack. But Patrick was able to lead well his game and managed to resist until the end. Note that there were only 26 players in the race during the final day of competition and a good portion of them surrendered after an hour of play. Two hours later, the nine finalists were designated.

Patrick Kar Keng Lee rose slowly to the top of the race while his opponents as the Chinese Wenlong Jin, the Polish Pawel Chmiel, the Chinese Chen Jun, the American Daniel Tarnopol and the other Chinese player of this final Chen Lu were eliminated respectively to rank at the 9th to the 5 th place. Before the dinner break, there were, therefore, only four players in the competition and it was Xiaobo Zhou who led the race with more than 4 million chips in hand while the winner of the tournament had the lowest stack. Zhou quickly eliminated the Malaysian Jun Wah Yap. But a few laps later, he also suffered the same fate. The final heads'up was played between Patrick Kar Keng Lee and the Japanesee Tetsuya Tsuchikawa. And with his advantage in chips and his talent, Patrick Kar Keng Lee finished the game as the winner.
