UKIPT: Edinburgh's step won by Fintan Gavin

The stage of the tournament United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) held in the poker room of Corn Exhange, in Edinburgh just close with a victory of Fintan Gavin. Indeed, the Irish emerge finally victorious from a batch of 518 participants, a noticeable performance that also let him pocket a jackpot of £ 61,500. Before this victory in Edinburgh, Gavin is already more or less familiar with podiums of major poker tournaments as in 2008, hehas already reached the position of runner-up of the European Poker Tour Barcelona (EPT). It must be said that the seventh stage of the UKIPT has been very successful because the guaranteed prize of £ 200,000 has been exceeded, £ 251,715 was raised at the meeting.

After three days of competition, Fintan Gavin won a new title that will embellish his record in the world of professional poker. Note in fact that he already had more than a million dollars earnings in live tournament. His runner up at the final table of the Edinburg UKIPT is none other than the UK Andrew Hawksby. For his second place, he pocketed the second prize of £ 37,400. And at the third spot, we find Jamie Dale while Thomas Ward, George Clyde-Smith, Craig Brown, Antonis Poulengeris, Rob Swindells and Kevin Letham were ranked from the 4th to the 9th place. The next step of the UKIPT will be held in Dublin from September 8 to 12. And as during the previous stages, the Ballsbridge Inn is already preparing to offer moments of exciting games for those who will be there.
