Full Tilt Poker: Relocation from USA to Canada

Impatience obliges. Four months after the Black Friday that happened to online poker universe in the USA, Full Tilt Poker has to take the biggest and the most serious decision of its existence. This online poker room had to dismiss an important number of its American employees. According to some sources, those employees cashed their salary after the decision made by the DoJ (Department of Justice) on April 15, 2011, forcing them to close their office’s door. Termination of all its activities running on the American territory, in other words, in its international department, tells more about this online poker room future.

But as we are used to say « Beautiful sun comes after the hardest rain », Full Tilt Poker still does not lose hope and still thinks about the opening of another poker market even if the starting up seems to be rude. According to the sames sources, this online poker room’s secondary gaming licence was renewed for another two years and this, despite its primary license being temporarily suspended by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. In fact, KGC or Kahnawake Gaming Commission has just announced a verdict about this affair. In a statement, KGC asserts that « To maintain a Secondary CPA, a licensee must maintain a valid licence to operate interactive gaming that has been issued by a comparable jurisdiction (the “primary jurisdiction”). Accordingly, the Commission is closely monitoring the proceedings being conducted by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (the “AGCC”) concerning the eGambling Licences held by Filco Limited, operating as “Full Tilt Poker.” ». After this dismissal in the USA, then, job postings are available in Canada. But the problem is can players withdraw their money blocked on FTP accounts ?
