European Team Challenge of Poker: Scheduled on August 12

Teams of poker players will have the opportunity to participate in tournament dedicated to them on next August 12 to 14, in Vienna. Named European Team Challenge of Poker, this tournament will bring together all teams of poker players in Europe during three days of competition in any kinds of poker like Pot Limit Omaha, deepstack NLH, NLH Sit & Go, pot limit Omaha cash… Each team has to be formed by four players and has to participate in all six competitions in order to collect the most points possible and to be qualified to attend the final. To be eligible to this big European poker tournament per team, all teams have to pay an entry fee of € 40. Organizers expect to register the participation of at least 125 teams from all countries that belong to this continent. The ETCOP title and an estimated prize pool of € 40,000 will be awarded during this event.



An amazing program is waiting for those who will attend this ETCOP tournament 2011. As foretold, competition will begin on Friday, August 12 with a Sit & Go 2 NLH and a Sit & Go OLP as opening tournaments. Note that teams will be formed by 2 players during these two tournaments. These same teams will still have access to the Knockout Bounty NLH 2 and to the Deepstack NLH 2 to be held from 7:00 p.m. Teams formed by four players each will be able to play only on Saturday after that day, for the Freezeout NLH. On Sunday, Playoffs (2 /team) will start and a ceremony award will be held just after that to close the tournament.
