José Macedo: His scam on the Internet caused him serious consequences
Surprising events marked the poker world this last time like Alex Rodriguez’ affair incriminating him for having participated in private poker parties or José Macedo’s one, for scam. José "Girah" Macedo, Portuguese emblem in poker, was recently accused of having scammed some online poker players in high stakes. Macedo recognized his implication in this affair of scam against « imfromsweden » and « MossBoss ». Those two players have been scammed of, respectively $ 10,000 and $ 21,900. This Portuguese scammer incited these players and many others to play against another player using a username « sauron1989 » who is none than Girah himself. Working as a coach in an online poker room, he played against his opponents with the ability to observe their cards.
Girah, his real pseudo, already announced he will give back the money scammed from those two victims but actions and verdict taken against this renowned Portuguese poker player would surely worse his brilliant future. The poker website employing José "Girah" Macedo had to dismiss him and his professional team had to do so, too. Collaborations like the collocation between Haseeb Quereshi and Daniel Cates in Lisbon and others have been cancelled due to this affair.
