EPIC Poker League: An outstanding tournament starts on August 9
After the world championship of poker in Las Vegas, people will have their eye on Palms casino Resort, Las Vegas henceforth where the first stage of the EPIC Poker League takes place. As announced a few months ago, the event will gather on one place professional poker players. The game will be rude during the main event of $ 20, 000 buy-in because a field of 218 participants is expected to come to play and most of them are renowned poker players. This Main Event is expected to begin on Wednesday 10th of August at noon. It is too soon to say how many qualified players there will be and how many they are invited to assist in Palms poker room tomorrow but in all cases, qualified players during the Pro-am tournament that already starts, will be present and currently, Andy Bloch and Steve o’Dwyer are in the list of those players who were able to qualify themselves in this event. Note that the charity tournament already begun.
If French players are concerned, we can expect the presence of David Benyamine, Bertrand « Elky » Grospellier, Jean-Paul Pasqualini, Ludovic Lacay, Antony Lellouche, Roger Hairabedian, Arnaud Mattern and Fabrice Soulier. Phil Hellmuth and Mike Matusow have already confirmed their participation in this tournament, as well. Players invited to come to play in the Epic Poker League will have their seat in a professional environment on Wednesday 10th of August. They will begin gaming with 50,000 starting chips and a round will last 90 minutes. $ 400,000 of prize will be awarded to the best players and this is apart from the collected prizepool.
