EPT Tallinn: Ronny Kaiser as winner of the edition 2011

The inaugural phase of the eighth season of the European Poker Tour (EPT) crowned its champion who is none other than the Swiss player of 21 years, Ronny Kaiser. His excellent performance during the fourth day of competition, held last Saturday, allowed him to reach easily the victory. Indeed, Kaiser was one of the 24 semi-finalists and he managed to get an advantage in chips after having eliminated Michael Graydon. Kaiser was then qualified for the final table and has even picked up the place of chipleader. Note that Kaiser is a player used to play poker cash games and he specialized in Pot Limit Omaha. And he took advantage of his experiences because he was able to confront the many players of the final table like the poker online pro player Keloporo Sami, the winner of the Pot Limit Omaha tournament of the World Series of Poker Las Vegas 2011 Ben Lamb and also Grzegorz Cichocki.



The public of the poker room of Swissotel assist then to an interesting battle during the final day of the EPT Tallinn. Arvi Vainionkulma, Sami Kelopuro, Erlend Melsom, Stuart and Jani Sointula finished respectively 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th and 4th. Asmaa Raigo held the third place and won a sum of € 110,000. After his elimination, Kaiser faced Cichocki during the final duel and managed to oust the Poles. For his triumph, then, Kaiser pocketed € 275,000. On the French side, no representative of the Hexagon couldn't reach the final table.
