Marrakesh Poker Open: A new meeting on September 21 to 25
The XXI edition of the Marrakesh Poker Open (MPO) is scheduled to take place from September 21 to 25 at the famous Casino Es Saadi. Once again, poker enthusiasts will have to visit the beautiful Moroccan city to participate in a poker tournament. On the program, there will be effectively the main event of € 1,350 buy-in but there will be also very attractive side events. During the main event, competitors will play deep stack poker, and they will receive 50,000 starting chips for levels of play of 45 minutes. A guaranteed prize of 1 million Dhirams equivalent to € 100,000 will be shared to the best players and, the winner will take home a nice sum of money. And the start of the main event is scheduled for September 23 at 2:00 p.m.
But to open officially this 21 th edition of the MPO, those who like this card game that will join the poker room will be invited to take part in the NLHE Deepstack tournament of € 500. On September 23, another side event available for € 500 buy-in is also programmed. And on September 24, there will be a NLHE Shootout of € 225 in which competitors will start the game with 10,000 starting chips for round of 25 minutes. Players can also participate in a Shorthanded tournament of € 225. And to close the festival, the organizers offer also the tournament Ticket Cash WSOP Step 2 which is a satellite tournament having a buy-in of € 900 and that will allow players to win packages for the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) which will be played in Cannes in October of this year.
