Latin American Poker Tour: Beginning of Punta del Este stage
After the successful tournament in Brasilia, Chili and Peru, the fourth season of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) is now making a stop in Punta del Este, Uruguay for a new adventure. The event started yesterday August 3 and will close on August 7, 2011 and during this period, fans of poker willing to join the luxurious Mantra Resort Spa and Casino will be entitled to an outstanding program. The Main event with $ 2,500 of buy-in will get started on Thursday from noon. Not forget that it was Jose Barbero the winner, last year and $ 279, 330 of prize was given to him.
Apart from this main tournament, different events will be organized in Mantra Resort poker room. There will be for instance, a No limit Hold’em tournament with $ 1,100 of buy-in, foreseen to take place on August 6 and will be played during two days. Like any big tournaments of poker, the LAPT Del Este will propose a High Roller tournament of $ 5,000 buy-in, that will be played on Sunday, August 7. However, enthusiasts of Cash game will be satisfied, too. The Main Event final table is foreseen to take place on August 7 and after the winner will be awarded his trophy, players will be able to participate in another poker tournament which is the Americas Cup of Poker. It is a big international tournament dedicated to many teams of poker players and it will be played during two days. Last year, the title was awarded to the Canadian Team after a head's up between them and the American Team.
