The World Poker Tour (WPT) is the biggest event of the year that poker fans of the world are waiting for. For its 10th Season, a new event is in the program, the Irish stage. The WPT President, Adam Pliska has just announced that the World Poker Tour Season 10 will stop in Ireland at the legendary Dublin City West Hotel from January 5 to 8, 2012 and the buy-in will be € 2,500. But before this big tournament, Adam Pliska explained that a press conference will take place in order for them to announce the different progressions and plans they made to ensure smooth completion of this Season 10. The trophy of the best player of the year during the World Poker Tour Season 9 will be awarded to Andy Frankenberger, the champion of this summer.

Note that the Legends Of Poker Series, a part of the WPT Season 10 and which will take place on August 25 to 30 in Bell Gardens, California is already at its 3rd edition. This event will be remarkable thanks to its mainevent having a buy-in of $ 3,500 + $ 200 and the possibility for players to re-register for the Day 1B by paying $ 3,700. The previous stage of the WPT was played in Slovenia on July 17 to 21 and Travnik Miha was the winner. The last stage of this tournament will take place in Bellagio, Las Vegas but the date is still unknown. This last stage of the WPT will be, thus, the one that precedes the new Irish stage.
