EPT Tallinn: Oscar Lima as best player of the Day 1B

For this new season of the European Poker Tour (EPT), the first stage of Tallinn reaches its second day. After the place of chipleader won by Maksim Kolosov on Day 1A with 100 000 chips, it is now the turn of the Spanish player Oscar Lima to lead the game with 132 000 chips. At the first beginning of this tournament, 180 players paid € 4,250 for 30 000 chips in order to be present on Swissotel’s tables. After the Day 1A, 130 were able to stay after having run 7 levels of 60 minutes each. The Awesome is the triumph of Oscar Lima that marked the Day 1B. The young Spanish player of 23 years old plays his first big major tournament but because of his way of play during this second day, it is believable that he still has great chances to do great things during this Estonian EPT.

Just behind the Spanish player, there is the Finnish Jani Sointula, a remarkable and talented player who already made an outstanding way if professional circuit is concerned like his performance in 2004 during the Monte Carlo Millions. In the EPT Tallinn Day 1B, he gathered 123,950 chips. Renowned players like Ville Wahlbeck, Dario Minieri, JP Kelly, Praz Bansi, Marcin Horecki, Richard Toth, Arnaud Mattern, Roberto Romanello and Martin Jacobson are still in the list of those who are currently in the tournament even if they couldn’t do something remarkable during the two days of this tournament. For this second day of the EPT Tallinn, the first 40 players will share between them the prizepool of € 1,071,600 and each awarded player will earn from € 6,500 à € 275,000.
