The Bellagio Cup VII tournament finally delivered its verdict, despite the presence of many poker pros in the field, the victory was finally won by the young Californian Elio Fox. Indeed, the event held at the Bellagio Casino & Resort attracted 224 players including the top players eliminated early during the main event of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP). The fourth day of competition, a decisive day to elect the winner of the tournament started with the early elimination of Jim Hess in the eighth place. He was a victim of Fox. Bryn Kenney and Daniel Colman joined then the bench of defeated players and ranked respectively at the 7th and 6th, while Kenney was in the place of chip leader when there were only 6 players at the table. Ted Forrest (5th) and Brandon Meyers (4th) were the next victims. Despite his many achievements in the European Poker Tour circuit, William Thorson also abandoned early this last phase and took the third place. He still earned a good result because it got a place on the podium. The final duel therefore opposed Fox to Hafiz Khan and after the confrontation, the title went to Elio Fox.
