Arizona State Poker Championship: An appointment to not be missed

The Talkling Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona will host the seventh edition of the annual tournament Arizona State Poker Championship. This is the biggest event held in the city and last year, the tournament was a huge success because it brought together a wide field of 900 players creating a prize pool of $ 1 million. For this new edition, the organizers hope to gather a field more important, about 975 competitors. According to the tournament director, Kent Odekirk, the State Poker Championship is a really good opportunity to play poker professionally in a very friendly atmosphere. The start of the main event will be held on August 12. The event will has as program three qualifying days. Thus, the Day 2 will be launched on August 15 and the final is scheduled to take place on August 16 from 9:00 p.m. The champion of the sixth edition, Ted Godstein, who cashed the great prize of $ 336,368 will be probably back to defend his title.

The tournament structure is quite attractive because players will receive 15,000 starting chips for levels of play of 45 minutes. And there will also be the possibility to make an add-on of $ 15. Note that the Talking Stick Resort has a large and luxurious poker room equipped with 50 tables. Exceptional tournaments usually take place there and all categories of players can find an event that suit them. Indeed, there are tournaments available for low buy-in between 3 and $ 6, but there are also tournaments offering higher entrance fees ranging from $ 75 to $ 150 not to mention the biggest bad-beat Jackpot ever held in the city of Arizona.
