Casino Barrière of Cannes: Nicolas Jacobs as best player of the deepstack tournament of July

The usual monthly poker tournament at Casino Barrière of Cannes has been played at the end of last week. As usual, the deepstack event of € 1,000 buy-in was composed by an interesting structure with 30,000 starting stack chips and several rounds of 45 minutes each. The Main Event of the latest edition of July, held during two days, on July 16 and 17 gathered of a field of 59 players. In addition, the 48 hours of competition between the fifty participants let organizers to collect a prize pool of € 51,000.



After the final table during which eight players participated, all of whom were all paid, the confrontation between the two best participants who are Rosadoni Giovanni and Nicolas Jacobs designated this last as the winner of the main tournament. Thus, the champion of the competition pocketed a gain of € 17,000 while the runner-up of the event pocketed a sum of € 11,000. As usual and in parallel with the Monthly Main Event of July, a NHL side event tournament of € 250 buy-in was also planned. This side event was attended by 52 players. 6 players reached the final phase of the game and they were all paid. The first place went to François Tardieu who also won a prize of € 4,100 after a tough battle against the second of the ranking is William D'Aguanno, who also had the privilege to pocket the sum of € 2,600.
