WSOP 2011: The French Fabrice Soulier won a new bracelet

Thanks to the wonderful performance of Fabrice Soulier during the event # 37, HORSE Championship of $ 10,000, France has just won its third gold bracelet in the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP) after the exploits of Bertrand Grospellier and Elie Payan. Indeed, by starting the final table in the second position, Fabrice Soulier was able to win against strong competitors such as Tom Dwan, Michael Binger, or Shawn Buchanan, his opponent in the final heads'up. Thus, this 42 years old French player prove that he is good at playing poker because despite a difficult final table, he climb to the victory and was awarded to another French first place in the World Series in the Rio poker room. And this well deserved victory also earned him a huge gain of $ 609,130.



The Russian Mikhail Lakhitov won for his part the event # 36, a no-limit Hold'em of $ 2,500. He was already the chip leader at the time when there were only five players on the gaming table. After having ousted Hassan Babajan at the final duel, he was awarded the first prize of $ 749,610 and a WSOP bracelet. The Event # 38 also delivered its verdict and Arkadiy Zin was crowned as champion. The Ukrainian however, led a tough battle before the victory which earned him a reward of $ 540,136 and a gold bracelet. In the Event # 39, a Pot-Limit Hold'em / Omaha, Mitch Schock grabbed the title with a prize of $ 310,225 after playing a hectic three hours heads'up face to Rodny Brown. Note that Roger Hairabedian ended up in the 15th position and pocketed a gain of $ 14,324.
