WSOP 2011: A second bracelet for Jason Mercier

The American professional poker player, Jason Mercier had just won his second bracelet by winning a victory during the Event # 35 of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP), a $ 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha. As a reminder, Jason Mercier got his first gold bracelet in 2009 and he also has 17 cashes in the World Series. During this competition, he faced a field of 507 participants and was able to eliminate his countryman Hans Winzeler during the final duel. With this triumph, Mercier was also awarded the first prize of $ 619,575. This beautiful triumph confirms the enormous talent he has to play poker. Indeed, this year he did a lot of great things with his victory in the North American Bounty Shootout Mohegan Sun. He currently holds $ 6.3 million in tournament winnings.

The French player Fabrice Soulier was also great in the other poker room of the Rio where the Event # 37 took place, a HORSE Championship of $ 10,000. He will begin the third day of competition with 560,000 chips in hand, placing him in the second place just after Michael Binger who stands in the place of chip leader with 742,000 chips. Note that the event attracted 240 players and 24 of them will receive a prize. Other representatives of France were in this starting field to name David Benyamine, Claude Marbleu, Alexandre Luneau but they was already eliminated at this event. But everyone hopes that Soulier, the last hope of France will defend the French reputation.
