WSOP: Aaron Steury won the $ 1,500 HORSE, French players in good position at the Event #17

The $ 1,500 HORSE tournament of the WSOP 2011 ended with the victory of Aaron Steury. This is the Event # 17 of the World Series of Poker 2011 (WSOP). Note that the event brought together a field of 963 players generating an enormous prize pool of $ 1,300,050. The winner pocketed a gain of $ 289,283 and the precious bracelet by ousting the former champion Michael Chow on the final duel. Top players was among this filed present at the poker room of Rio for this tournament and some of them finished in the money list as Tristan Clémençon who awarded the 10 th place and Victor Ramdim who currently has four WSOP 2011 final tables and finished 9th. In the Event # 17, Adam Friedman reaced the third place.



The event # 18 has also begun and it garner a huge success with 3,157 registered players. After two days of competition, there were only 36 survivors and French players made great achievements because four of them who are Silma Macalou, Ilan Ruach, Eric David and Nicolas Troublat reached the paid list while Matthieu Poutine and Philippe Vert were ualified for the third day of competition. With a prize pool of $ 4,261,950, the champion of this tournament will walk away with a huge gain of $ 735,400 and Foster Hays holds currently the place of chip leader. The event # 19, a Limit Hold'em with / Six Handed of $ 2,500 buy-in is now reaching the semifinals. The tournament recorded a field of 354 participants. Gabriel Nassif is now proving once again his ability to play Limit Hold'em poker because he is now at the seventh place for this race for a new bracelet. Russian Alexander Kuzmin is the chipleader.
