Joa Poker Tour: The final of Antibes won by Jean-Philippe Rohr

The weekend of Pentecost was not a time for any rest or respite for players qualified for the final of the Joa Poker Tour 2011 held at Casino La Siesta, in Antibes, France. But it was also a fruitful journey and that paid off big for the best players. Indeed, this stage of the tournament which was played on the Riviera, near Juan les Pins, available for a buy-in of € 1800 offered to the winner a prize of € 40,000. And it was Jean-Philippe Rohr who had the opportunity to win this great prize pool, a ranking established following a deal between the 3 remaining players of the game. The runner up, Sebastien Weiler and Adrien Guarrigues, 3rd, however, pocketed respectively € 28 000 and € 17 000.

However, Rohr started the final with a little difficulty by being the eighth player in chips. But this former football player who reached this stage even if there were 88 players listed at the beginning of poker tournament, with the presence of big names in poker like Guillaume Darcourt, Leonard Truche, Eric Haik, Youcef Benzarfa ... was very persistent. Olivier Cossais was the player who closed the list of cashes by finishing in the 6th place for a gain of € 8.000. Stéphane Bazin (5th) for € 10,000 and Sam El Sayed who won the 4th place and € 12,000 of earnings followed him.
