Cercle Gaillon: Dan Djorno qualified for the Grand Final of September 19

Double Impact is not just a movie title, it’s also the new tournament that the Cercle Gaillon offers for a few time to poker enthusiasts in the French capital. In fact, it's an event that takes place each week in this gambling establishment located near the Champs-Elysees. The entry fee to let players participate in this weekly tournament is set at € 500. For the actual structure of the event, players start with 15,000 chips and they have rounds lasting 30 minutes each. Presented as an individual poker championship tournament, Double Impact of Cercle Gaillon defined as rules of the tournament the qualification of the three best players from each weekly competition for the grand final scheduled for Monday, September 19, 2011.

Moreover, it was established by the tournament organizers that any player up to three times the target has the right to start the game with 2 times more starting stack in the final. For the recent tournament with a prize pool of € 8,024 of last Monday, June 6 for example, which registered a field of 20 participants, Dan Djorno finished first in the competition for the fourth consecutive time. For this fourth consecutive victory, this well known player in the Parisian circles pocketed a gain of € 4,020 and a ticket to the grand final. In addition, he will have the advantage to start the final with a starting stack of 30,000 chips.
