Dijon: An employee dragged to court for having stolen € 60.000

The mystery of the disappearance of 364 Nintendo DS and Wii game consoles has been solved by the brigade against property and security of the departmental of Dijon, France. Indeed, the investigation of the entire store staff at the police station appointed a former employee as responsible of the evasion. In fact, the alleged robber, during his interrogation, reported that he isn't involved in this unfortunate affair. However, the analysis of his bank account does not reflect at all his financial situation. Thus, the police closely monitored the movements of debit and credit of the young man of Dijon evaluated to € 60,000, slightly less than the harm registered by the shop where he worked, which was around € 70,000.

To find the proof against him, the investigators use the assistance of issuers of checks. Thus, the various checks received by the employee from an ad website indicated as reason the payment for the sale of game consoles. Finally, the ex-employee of the store of 30 years confessed his crime. For the record, the price of several hundreds of game consoles missing from the store where he worked had been used for debt repayments. In reality, the individual is addicted to poker and he could not afford to pay his due to his creditors. In any case, the court will decide the fate of this young poker gambler, free for the moment. Indeed, he will be in the front of the Criminal Court of Dijon in the coming days.
