WPT World Championship: Scott Seiver earns the title

By starting the televised final table of the World Poker Tour World Championship (WPT) as holder of the second biggest stack, Scott Seiver earn the title of star of the show in the Bellagio poker room. Indeed, the American player eliminated Farzad Bonyadi on the last lap and won the first prize of $ 1,618,344 and his first WPT bracelet. Having evolved primarily on High Stakes cash game tables, Scott Seiver always played poker with professionalism and determination. His skill has been rewarded once again as he already holds an interesting record if we only mention his bracelet at the World Series of Poker. With this new conquest, he just added more than one million dollars on his $ 4 million gain in live tournament.



At the beginning of the final meeting, Gallen Hall had already in hand all the advantages and the best criteria to win the title. But in the end, he settled for the third place with a prize of $ 589,355. Note that this last stage of the WPT was a great success because it brought together 220 participants and the tournament offered also a magnificent show to the public of the beautiful Fontana Room of Bellagio. Justin Young was the first eliminated from the final table and received in return the sum of $ 225,654. Tony Gargano followed him and finished in the 5th place with a premium of $ 278,749. Roger Teska, for his part, ranked at the fourth position thereby winning the prize money of $ 371,665. The runner up, Bonyadi for his part ended this WPT World Championship with a gain of $ 1,061,900.
