WPT Championship: 29 players registered in the Super High Roller $ 100,000

While the finalists of the Main Event of the World Poker Tour World Championship (WPT) are fighting in order to win the prestigious trophy of this event, the Super High Roller $ 100,000 buy-in also started. With such entry fee that book the table games to a small clan of players, this event still managed to attract 29 participants who dared to try their luck. In fact, a big gain of $ 1,092,780, taken from the prize pool of $ 2.8 million is promised to the champion, a reason that incites all competitors to offer the best of themselves in order to eliminate their opponents. Thus, the runner up will then pocket the second prize of $ 700,500 while the third will receive $ 448,320, $ 336,240 for the fourth and $ 224,160 for the fifth finalist.

At the start of the second day of competition, 12 competitors have already been eliminated. They are therefore only 17 players to be back in Bellagio poker room. The majority of the survivors and remaining participants are major players whose talent for playing poker is already recognized. At the head of the pack, is placed for example Justin Bonomo. He enjoys a large advantage in chips. Ready to block his path to victory, Vivek Rajkumar is currently in the second position, and has already made considerable achievements in the WPT circuit. Erick Lindgren, John Morgan and Randy Dorfman complete the list of the top 5. But other players looking for a great triumph is still in contention as Ashton Griffin, Daniel Negreanu, Yevgenjy Timoshenko, Dan Shak, Gregory Brooks, Eugene Kachalov, Gabe Kaplan, Samuel Trickett and Cary Katz.
