WSOP-C Pennsylvania: Kenny Nguyen wins the gold ring

A great success has been recorded at the first stop of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) in the city of Pennsylvania. In fact, 269 players answered the call and came to compete in the poker room of Harrah's Chester to take part in the main event of $ 1,500 buy-in. The collected prize pool was distributed to the 27 best players of the tournament. Some top players were part of the starting field of the event but only Ari Engel, Kenny Nguyen and Robert Hwang won access to the final table. At the start of this day full of action, Ramana Epparla occupied for a time the place of chip leader with 1,950,000 chips in his hands. But he didn't maintain his advantage until the end of the tournament, but he still managed to grab the third place with a premium of $ 42,366.

Preceded by Ryan Waddell, Huy Nguyen was quickly eliminated in the 8th place. Then two hours later, Waddell suffered the same fate. This was not certainly the best day to play poker for Robert Hwang because he was the next eliminated of the table and ranked at the 7th place. Ed Cotter and Sean Knitter subsequently followed him. And because the attacks of Kenny Nguyen were so strong, Ari Engel joined the bench and was eliminated at the fourth place with an amount of $ 31,179. After the elimination of the chip leader of the gaming table, the final duel was between Kenny Nguyen and Robert Scott. It only took 20 minutes for Kenny Nguyen to win this last confrontation that let him grab the victory, the prize of $ 94,901 and a place for the WSOPC National Championship to be held at the end of this month, leaving to the runner-up the second prize of $ 58,639. The next stage of the tournament will be held from May 16 to 18 at Harrah's New Orleans.
