WSOPE Cannes 2011: A busy program of 14 days in October

France is the next destination of the fifth edition of the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) part of its season 2011. The place chosen to host this prestigious world-class competition, already announced since a few months is the city of Cannes. All tournaments will be held at the Casino Barrière Croisette during the 14 days of this first international French poker appointment. A good and enticing program will be offered to players from Friday 7 to Thursday, 20 October, 2011. The Vice-President of the WSOP, Ty Stewart talk already about this step of Cannes as an exceptional experience that players had never experienced if we only mention about the relaxation and attractive events that await participants.



For the calendar of the World Series of Poker Europe itself of this fifth edition, the main event to be held from October 15 to 20 will take place first in six days. This Main Event will be available for a buy-in of € 10,400. There will be also other side events such as the 6 Max No Limit Hold'em of € 1,620 buy-in to be played on October 7 to 9, a € 1,090 No Limit Hold'em from October 8 to 11, a Pot Limit Omaha of € 5,300 buy-in from October 10 to 12. The days of October 11 to 13 will also feature a No Limit Hold'em Shootout of € 3,200 buy-in and a 6 Max Pot Limit Omaha of € 1,620 entry fee from October 13 to 15. Furthermore, a Split Format tournament of € 10,400 buy-in limited to 9 players will be held during the three days of October 12 to 15. And about the trophy, 7 bracelets will be distributed during this step in Cannes.
