World Poker Tour Season X: Two stops in Jacksonville
The success of the Seminole Hard Rock stage of the ninth season of the World Poker Tour circuit demonstrates that Florida residents enjoy playing poker. Face to such enthusiasm, tournament organizers decided to held two new stages in this city during the next season. Indeed, following a collaboration with a poker room in Jacksonville, the WPT Season X will visit twice the city. First, there will be the WPT Regional Series available for rather moderate entry fees. But the biggest event is the WPT Jacksonville Greyhound Racing & Poker that will be broadcast on a TV show with a buy in of $ 10,000.
For the moment, organizers have not yet announced the dates of the holding of these two championships but it appears that the televised tournament will be held in spring 2012. Meanwhile, fans of the circuit are expected to attend the WPT Regional Series of Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida which will run from August 19 to 22, 2011. A the program, there will be a $ 2,200 tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $ 250,000. And after this event, there will be also the stage in Paris to be hosted by the famous circle game Aviation Club de France and will be held from September 1st to 11th. Then, poker enthusiasts in Florida can prepare to participate in outstanding tournaments during the WPT 2011-2012.
