Poker Club Nouvionnais: A new association full of ambition
The breakthrough of poker in today's society continues its merry way even in small towns. Indeed, in addition to prestigious tournaments that are played almost throughout the year and the exciting news about this game and its players who, for some time, make the headlines. The growing number of poker clubs and associations, mainly French, who never ceases to grow is not surprising if we consider this success. And about this great health of poker in France, a new association was created last Friday, April 22 in the little town of Nouvion en Thiérache.
Thus, the first constituent assembly of the new association called the Poker Club Nouvionnais was held on Friday night in a room of the cultural arena, attended by 17 members. For this first meeting of the club, the board members outlined their ambitions. They have then three main objectives that are the development of poker, the search for an online tournament organizer partner and above all the target of qualifying the maximum players in major live tournaments. Already, in this vein, the chairman Mickael Bouleau, the treasurer Yannick Bouleau and Sébastien Dursent will represent the club for the national finals of instinct poker of May 14 to 15 in Bordeaux. In addition, other programs are expected shortly like the forthcoming implementation of a system of tuition for beginners, the organization of a championship initiated by the club with a timing of a first round on next April 29.
