The first ten qualifying stages of the France Poker Tour of the new edition 2011 are actually completed, except the last stop which will be played in Marseille during this Easter weekend of April 23 and 24. During the first four months of this year, from January to April, 10 French cities hosted this prestigious circuit on the territory of France. Thus, these poker events take place successively in Paris on January 15 and 16, in Bordeaux on January 22 and 23, in Lille from February 12 to 13, in Limoges on February 20, in Strasbourg on February 26 and 27, in Lyon on March 5 and 6, in Troyes on March 13, in Rennes from March 19 to 20, in Toulouse in March 26 and 27 and Tours in last April 9 to 10.

With the 11 qualifying stages held in different cities of the country, the sixth grand final of the poker championship of France, which will take place on May 19 to 24, 2011 at the Aviation Club de Paris, is expected to accommodate over 1,000 participants. Indeed, besides players already qualified during the 11 stops, others can still join them through qualifying satellite tournaments to be held until May 5. In addition to the final stage of the France Poker Tour for a prize pool of € 1 million, two No Limit Hold'em tournaments will complete the schedule with the high roller tournament France Poker Masters of May 23 to 25 and the affordable buy-in tournament France Poker Deepstack of May 26 to 29.
