Middle East Championship: Dominik Nitsche sign a second live victory

The entire week of April 11 to 17, 2011 that had just ended was among others, marked by the Cypriot poker event. Indeed, the poker tournament called "Middle East Championship" was held during 7 days at Casino Merit. In the program, a dozen tournaments were offered to players who made the trip with quite affordable buy-ins for participants. Different entry fees ranging from € 300 to € 4,400, this last was that of the Main Event played over two days, was available.

In general, this poker appointment of Middle East Championship in Cyprus registered the participation of unknown players on the circuit. This has, perhaps, ease the task of the young German online player, Dominik Nitsche who has just marked a milestone his second victory in a live tournament. For this second success in the Middle East Championship main event with a prize pool of $ 400,000, the very young player aged just 20 years earned the considerable sum of $ 155,923. With this new victory at his credit, Dominik Nitsche now crossed the milestone of one million dollars winning in live tournament of his career. To recap, the first coronation of the young German player was during the Latin American Poker Tour of 2009 in Mar Del Plata, Argentina, during which the youngest champion in the history of the LAPT returned home with a gain of $ 387,030 plus a continental trophy in the bag.
