NAPT Mohegan Sun: Vanessa Selbst won her second title

There is more doubt, Vanessa Selbst is part of the best poker players. Like the great players Johnny Chan, Johnny Moss and Stu Ungar, the young champion did an impressive back to back which means that she won the coronation at the same tournament during two consecutive years. Indeed, with brilliance, Selbst won the title of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Mohegan Sun 2011, an exceptional performance that the public acclaimed when she walk up on the podium of the poker room to receive her trophy and the $ 450,000 reward. Note that this is the sixth major title that she won. So now, she recorded a total gain of $ 4,365,277.

The route of Vanessa Selbst at the NAPT Mohegan Sun has however not been easy. She started the final table with the second largest stack and at some time of the day, she had the lowest stack, at a moment during which it remained only 5 players in the race. But she managed to climb progressively the ranking to finally reach the final heads'up that opposed her to Dan Shak. The duel was quite fierce but Vanessa Selbst played well in poker and eliminate her opponent. Looking for a second victory as her, Joe Tehan was not so lucky and settled for the 6th place. The first eliminated from the race was Steve O'Dwyer followed by Aaron Overton. Vincent Rubianes ended the tournament at the 4th place and Thomas Hoglund Jr. was entitled to the third place with a prize of $ 120,000. For his second place, Dan Shak pocketed a reward of $ 254,000.
