World Series of Poker 2011: Three historic head's up will be replayed

Since the existence of the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the final heads'up was always the best moment of the tournament, a final duel during which the two best players of all the series who trained for over a year compete to win the prestigious title. During this 2011 edition, the organizers wanted to let the public revive these historical heads'up. Thus, three heads'up rematch will be in the program of the annual meeting of fans of this same circuit in Las Vegas. The first is the incredible duel between Chris Moneymaker and Sam Farha. They clashed at the final of the WSOP 2003 and at the time, Moneymaker was still an amateur but he won the confrontation and the big sum of $ 2.5 million.

He will have the chance to repeat this feat on June 2, 2011 in the poker room of the famous Rio Casino. The meeting will be divided into three parts. For the first game, the two players will compete with the same chips as in the final of 2003 that is, 5.49 million chips in hand for Moneymaker and 2,900,000 chips in hand for Farha. At the second meeting, the tokens of both opponents will be exchanged and at the third game, they will play poker with the same stack. The second rematch will let Phil Hellmuth and Johnny Chan to compete again as in the final of 1998, a meeting during which the young Hellmuth, aged 22 at that time won the victory. And for the third rematch, it's the public who will choose between the heads'up of Johnny Chan and Erik Seidel, 1988, Greg Raymer and David Williams in 2004, Jamie Gold and Paul Wasicka, 2006 or Jonathan Dumahel and John Racener of 2010. Note that for the two rematch, there will be only one part and competitors will compete with the same chips in hand.
